missroseroseRepeated vomiting, dizziness almost to the point of fainting, fever, nausea...
I'm not sure whether I ate something bad or if my beer with some sort of nasty mutant yeast in it (probably the latter since Brian doesn't have this, too.) Or maybe if I just picked up some icky bug somehow. All I know is, I was feeling fine until about 9:00, then *WHAM* I had to throw up. And do the equivalent out the other end. I figure it's one of those food-poisoning things, but at least the worst was over.
And then it happened again.
And again.
And again.
I'd go to the doctor's but the only place open right now is the emergency room and they hit you with a $150 fee per visit. I'm trying Pepto-Bismol and mint tea at the moment, but if that doesn't work I may be in for a 1 AM trip...
God, I hate being sick. Hate it hate it hate it.
(But on the other hand, the fact that I haven't thrown up while typing this entry may be an encouraging sign.)
ETA: I should probably give mass props to Brian for taking care of me through all of this...he only just now went to bed. Poor boy's going to be asleep on his feet at work tomorrow.
ETA (again): Pepto-Bismol is some of the nastiest-tasting/textured stuff ever invented. But to paraphrase a friend of mine who was kind enough to listen to my tale of woe over MSN at three in the morning (his time), "it tastes better than vomit". And it seems to be working, so far. *is hopeful*
