I loved that article! Yeah, it was frustrating to me too. Not that my brother hasn't had his share of run-ins with the law, but (to the best of my knowledge) it was mostly youthful bad judgment or else bureaucratic stuff (like renewing his vehicle registration) he literally couldn't afford at the time. The whole thing about "it's illegal to be poor in this country" is so dang true.
