Hrmm. Keep in mind that I'm still very much a beginner; I've barely gotten through the "plurals" segment on DuoLingo. But most of it's seemed fairly logical - way more so than English, although that's not precisely a high bar. :) The suffixes are giving me a little bit of trouble, but only because I'm not yet used to thinking about word construction that way; frankly, it feels much more logical to me than having separate articles that don't actually *mean* anything themselves as words.

I am still a little fuzzy on en vs. ett, though. My impression was that one referred to something that had a gender (no matter what the gender was), and the other to something genderless, but in usage I'm not seeing a lot of consistency to that rule so I'm not sure I'm understanding it correctly.
