Out of curiosity, what parts of Swedish to you find most (and I guess least) baffling? I've never managed to get the non-native grasp of my own language.
I think, for English, the thing I found the most baffling was "the". It just felt wrong not slapping a suffix on a word to indicate determinate form.
Or, maybe, the sound of "j". A very definite marker of "Swqedish accent" is that Yale and jail are pronounced the same.
