*laughs* Yeah, less than ten should be easy. I think I'm going with three major players; I'm not certain yet if that's too few to reliably be called "epic" but each of them has a fully-formed and in-depth character arc (whether or not said arc has completely revealed itself in my head yet). Plus assorted parents, tutors, love interests, etc, each of which I'm trying to flesh out decently well. It'll probably need a fair amount of expansion before it gets to a salable status, but for NNWM I've probably got plenty. :)
