missroserose(1) No matter what your job is, you're going to be whoring for someone. If it's in business/sales, you're sucking up to the customers. If it's in something like a library, you're whoring for the government/university/whoever's in charge of funding.
(2) I prefer to be whoring for the government; sure, all the tasks "for funding purposes" aren't much fun, but compared to having customers treat you like crap because they know they can, well...let's just say I prefer to count how many people are coming into the library every hour.
(3) Actual book title: "The Jewish Holocaust for Beginners." Is it just me, or does that sound scarily like a title in a series called "How To Create Your Own Ethnic Cleansing Method in Five Easy Steps"?
(4) I should go before my boss realizes I'm on the computer and not shelving books. =)
