Yeah, it was pretty awful even with the original lyrics. Luckily, it was the eighties and so there was a lot of that 'pretentious arty video' thing going around, and nobody really noticed. "I know! Let's throw a dove in there! It'll be just like Bladerunner!" The first one of these I saw was "Take on Me" and I had no idea what they were doing. I should go back and watch it again.
