-10 to next combat
Jan. 8th, 2009 09:09 amThanks to a series of snowstorms and the associated maintenance and removal tasks, it's been a solid month since any of the crew have had more than a day off here or there. Most of them have been working seven days a week.
The crew captain and second-in-command have been putting in 12-hour days trying to get everything squared away before the next big dump. (As you might imagine, they both look tired as hell.)
The weather report's predicting 12 to 21 inches of snow over the next 36 hours. And it's warming up, so it'll be the heavy, wet stuff, too.
I believe the atmosphere in the shop could be accurately described as a "Sense of Impending Doom."
