On and off for the past couple of weeks, my teeth have been hurting. Most of the time it's manageable, but once in awhile one of them will start twinging like crazy, for no discernible reason.

This has been happening a lot today, and the acetamenophen I've been taking hasn't helped.

So I'm sitting at the library desk, staring morosely at the computer screen and thinking murderous thoughts towards the dentist, my teeth, and myself for being a junk food addict and getting into this mess in the first place - and guess who walks into the library?

My dentist.

Those who know me will know that I'm not the sort of person to get pissed at someone very often, especially over something that's probably not their fault. Nor was I particularly angry. But I did inform him, very nicely and with a smile on my face, that my teeth were still hurting and I was feeling rather displeased towards the dental profession in general, and he suggested I call the office next day and see if they could fit me in for an exam or something.

And here I was looking forward to a Friday without dental work of any sort...*sigh*

I haven't decided yet if I'll call them. I guess we'll see how my teeth feel tomorrow...
