missroseroseBack from the dentist, with the beginnings of a helluva sore gum area once the novocaine fully wears off. I'm seriously thinking about popping a Vicodin pill at the moment, but unfortunately my mom's going to be home in a couple of hours, and she's not going to want me to be out of it. So maybe I'll do what I did this morning and curl up with a hot water bottle and some Advil. And I've got another appointment on the 18th to do the *other* half of my mouth. Bleah.
Got a couple of packages, though no leather corset yet. My chemise came today, and it's very nicely made but sort of HUGE. It was billed as "one-size-fits-all", and that's what I got..."all" meaning someone my size (34B) to someone Mella's size (48DD). So I'm going to be taking a couple inches off of either side, I think...fortunately it's a fairly simple garment, and I do have some basic sewing skills (and a sewing machine!) thanks to my grandmother. Or maybe I'll just give it to Mella. =) The other package was from Ian, which I first thought might have been a bomb but was actually filled with chocolate. I'm not sure whether he's trying to woo me back or just make me interested in talking with him again. But considering that just yesterday I was bitching about the lack of chocolate in the house, I guess I should be grateful. Of course, it *would* come on the day when neither my mouth nor my uterus wants to think about chocolate...but hey, that can't last forever, right?
On the plus side, the dentist re-sealed my teeth, which means I don't have any chipped-away parts for food to get into anymore. And I guess fillings are good too. Once the pain goes away and everything.
