Your limitations
are not the enemy
converging at the city walls
brandishing spears and shields
massed, mindless, grinding.

Your limitations
are your oldest friends
descending on your sleepover
deciding what to do, who to be
connected, conversant, discovering.

Keep those friends.
Listen to the secrets they whisper at night.
Encourage them to grow, to expand
to overcome their childish fears
But respect their boundaries
when they set them.
