Business, then pleasure...
Feb. 9th, 2006 09:21 pmBusiness first: I have here an auction for the one and only pair of shoes that I wore to see 42nd Street in Spokane. Now's your chance to own a piece of Rain and Roses memorabilia! The shoes are in almost-new shape (having only been worn the once) and will ship in their original box. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind opportunity! =)
And now for the pleasure...of sorts: You'd think it'd be impossible to make a picture featuring a nude Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johannson unflattering, unappealing and just generally unsexy. Vanity Fair, however, seems to have managed it with their latest cover. What's the bit? I mean, okay, I can sort of understand the ultramodern Hollywood chic look they were going for, but taking two of today's most striking actresses and putting them in poses, makeup and hairstyles that make them look like the Plastic Whore-Bots from the 24th Century strikes me as pretty darn unforgivable.
