We went to a (rather good) seafood place in Richland for lunch today, and on the way back we checked out a GameCrazy that was located nearby. (Aside: I'm not sure if this is a chain-wide hiring policy or if I just hit the right particular franchise, but this was one of the best game stores I've been to, service-wise - the staff were knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly, though admittedly, that might have had something to do with the fact that I was dressed semi-nicely and was even wearing some makeup today. End of aside.) Brian found a used game-only copy of JetMoto 2 for the Playstation, which actually works pretty well because I've had the case hanging around for a couple of years even though the game disappeared (I think my brother stole it). I also picked up Final Fantasy IV for the GBA, which I'd been planning on getting anyway but I felt happy to buy it there. I also heard that FFVI is coming out for the DS, which will be really awesome - I only ever played it about two-thirds of the way through on the Playstation, but I was really impressed with the story and it'll be nice to not have the lag issues that the PS version had.

In any case, on the way back I was looking at the box for FFIV, and in small print on the back next to the rating, it says "Basic reading ability is needed to fully enjoy this game."

For some reason, that totally cracks me up...
