Context: While I'm having some issues with my car insurance (which is a whole separate story), Joe comes around and we start a mutual bitch session about insurance which somehow segues into politics. Brian One (not my Brian but his boss) comes in and looks vaguely confused...

Me: We're having a complaint session about insurance and the government. Want to join?
Joe: Insurance and the government? Don't you know they're the same thing?
