Quick moving and job update

Got most of the furniture moved in yesterday, and both Brian and I are bloody sore. Aside from that, though, things are great - the apartment is starting to really look like a home, and I really love our bedroom. Plus the shower has actual hot water (the wiring at his mother's house is such that the water there rarely gets very warm, and depending on how the thermostat is set, is sometimes downright tepid). Once we get everything set up and unpacked I'll probably have to post pictures. Unfortunately, it's going to be a bit before we have the phone and internet hooked up. Oh, well. His mother doesn't mind us keeping our computers at her place for now.

On the job front, the local paper is looking for temporary carriers, so I dropped off an application. The extra money would be nice, even if it does involve getting up at 4:00 AM or so. I guess we'll see if they offer me a route.

And just to gush about the new apartment a bit more - I love how much sun the place gets on nice days...living room and dining room in the mornings, bedrooms in the evenings. Though that may be a bit of a pain come the height of summer when we're trying to sleep. ;)
