Not entirely surprisingly, when I play GeoGeussr (as I sometimes do), there are moments when I have to stop and think "is this rural Alaska, rural Canada or rural Scandawegia?" Sometimes, there are hints on the roads (you see yellow stripes and it ain't Scandawegia), but mostly these are gravel roads, so no handy lines. I guess I am correct roughly half the time, and half a globe away the rest.

I hadn't thought about the "can't read signs" (I am sufficiently fluent in English that the English-speaking parts of the world are Just Fine, and can muddle through Spanish/French/Italian well enough that those are only midly slowing me down, German seems to be fine). But, yes, I can totally see that being stressful.

Did Stockholm remind you of Seattle? Because Seattle reminds me of Stockholm (only having water in primarily north/south rather than east/west).
